These Dogs are Petrified by Guisards

| |

Dogs are our loyal companions.  Anyone who has a dog as a pet knows that dogs will always greet their owners with joy and energy.  Unless, of course, that person is wearing a disguise.

A guisard is a person wearing a mask.  The word stems from guise meaning “to appear or go in disguise.”  The word entered the English language in 1626.

In this compilation of videos, dogs are caught off guard by the scary presence of a person they at first don’t recognize.  You’d think a dog’s power sense of smell would override the visual before them. Unfortunately, these dogs are easily confounded by the masked presence in front of them.
