These Elephants and Dogs Enjoy a Prelapsarian Rescue

| |

Prelapsarian is an adjective meaning ‘innocent, unspoilt, carefree.’  The word entered the English language in 1874 and was originally meant was to refer to “before the Fall” (from Latin lapsus for fall) of Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden.

The Save Elephant Foundation in Thailand is dedicated to saving not only Asian Elephants but also a menagerie of rescued dogs, cats, and livestock.  This cute video, set to Pharrell Williams’ catchy “Happy” song, shows the prelapsarian state of elephants at the rescue.  Rolling in mood, playing with soccer balls, and generally frolicking around, these elephants can now enjoy a more carefree life.  Cats, dog, and cattle are also shown enjoying life at the sanctuary.
