If you missed this year’s 27th annual ESRI International User Conference or if you are looking for another viewpoint on the news and announcements, then take advantage of the many bloggers out there that have posted their reviews of this conference.

The number of bloggers who write about GIS and related technologies is growing every year. With the enormity of the conference (over 14,000 attendees this year), it is impossible to be everywhere.

Bloggers can help fill in the gaps by providing clarity (or at least their opinion) on announcements or highlight new technologies that you might have missed during your visit.

Esri’s 2007 Plenary Session

The plenary session is always held the Monday of the conference and is the major session for ESRI announcements and demonstrations of emerging software releases.

This year, the theme was The Geographic Approach and featured keynote speaker Wangari Maathai who spoked about the Greenbelt Movement.

You can check out the gist of her speech by visiting the ESRI User Conference blog.
