Updated:

Here’s a step by step accounting of the manual process by which one local paper maps out their crime.  What’s interesting is that the process to get the crime locations takes up a grand total of two steps and the process to get the maps so they can be printed is eight steps.  Not surprisingly, the paper is looking to understand how many of their readers actually pay attention to the printed maps versus the online version.
